Piriton Antihistamine Allergy Relief Syrup provides fast relief from various allergy symptoms, including hay fever, skin allergies, food allergies, pet allergies, house dust mite allergies, insect bites, and mould spore allergies. It also alleviates the itchy rash of chickenpox.

• Suitable for: Adults and children 1 year and over.
• Active ingredient: Chlorphenamine Maleate

How to Use

The syrup should be taken orally using the two-headed spoon provided. Follow the dosing instructions based on age groups:

• 1-2 years: One small 2.5ml spoonful twice daily.
• 2-6 years: One small 2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours.
• 6-12 years: One large 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours.
• Adults and children over 12 years: Two large 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) every 4-6 hours.

Maximum doses per 24-hour period:

• 1-2 years: 5ml
• 2-6 years: 15ml
• 6-12 years: 30ml
• Adults and children over 12 years: 60ml

Children under 12 months: Not recommended.

Cautions

• May cause drowsiness: Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Avoid alcohol: Alcoholic drinks should be avoided.
• Consult a healthcare provider: If you have underlying medical conditions, take other medications, or if symptoms persist.
• Keep out of reach of children: Store below 25ºC and protect from light.

Ingredients

Each 5ml of syrup contains 2mg of Chlorphenamine Maleate. Also includes sucrose, glycerol, ethanol, and a mixture of methyl, ethyl, and propyl hydro­xyb­en­zoates (E218, E214, and E216).
