What is IHB technology?

The IHB technology (IHB = Irregular heartbeat) analyses pulse frequency and detects irregular heartbeat during blood pressure measurement. If an irregular heartbeat occurs during the measurement, the IHB symbol is displayed. IHB does not replace a cardiac examination, but it serves to detect pulse irregularities at an early stage.

This is automatically done by the device without the need for any adjustments. The Gentle+ technology improves the inflation and deflation rate during blood pressure measurements. It is an adaptive pressure control technology, which allows optimal speed and pressure control thereby ensuring a comfortable measurement.
