Fultium Daily D3 Capsules 10µg (400IU) 90 Capsules
Fultium Daily D3 is an easy one-a-day vitamin D supplement. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function and the normal function of the immune system. It is essential for the normal growth and development of bone in children. Fultium Daily D3 contains vitamin D3, the type of vitamin D produced naturally by your body.
You probably know that the strength of bones comes from calcium. Your body does not make calcium – you have to consume it in your diet. that’s where Vitamin D – ‘The Sunshine Vitamin’ - plays such a vital role. Vitamin D is essential to enable you to absorb calcium from food. When your vitamin D levels are low, you absorb less calcium from your diet. That means your bones may not get the calcium they depend on. Vitamin D3 (also known as cholecalciferol) is the type of vitamin D produced by the sun. It’s the type you’ll find in Fultium Daily D3 Capsules and Drops.
Fultium Daily D3 capsules contain 10 micrograms of vitamin D3 – exactly the daily dose recommended by the government’s guidelines. Taking Fultium Daily D3 ensures that you and your family are getting the right amount of vitamin D every day. So it contributes to enjoying an active and healthy lifestyle for as long as possible.

Getting enough vitamin D every day, all year round, is very difficult.
On sunny summer days, exposing your skin to the sun can provide your daily dose of vitamin D. But for much of the year, the UK sun isn’t strong enough for your skin to make vitamin D. Sun creams can block the rays that make vitamin D. And certain types of people need even more exposure to make enough vitamin D.
From around October to April, the UK sun is too weak for us to make any significant vitamin D.
Because vitamin D is important, the government has advised that everyone should consume a recommended amount of vitamin D every day. It can be difficult to get these amounts without taking a supplement like Fultium Daily D3.
As you age, weakening bones are inevitable.
Who’s most at risk from vitamin D
We will all begin to lose bone mass in our thirties, which is why the government recommends that people should take a daily supplement containing 10 micrograms of vitamin D.
Some groups of people are especially at risk:
the elderly, such as those who are frail or housebound and spend little time outdoors
those in an institution such as a care home
anyone who usually wears clothes that cover up most of their skin when outdoors
people from minority ethnic groups with dark skin, such as those of African, African-Caribbean or South Asian origin.
Are there any symptoms of less healthy bones?
- bone pain
- frequent bone fractures
- muscle weakness
- soft bones that may result in deformities
- unexplained fatigue
