Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule Treatment for Vaginal Thrush, Suitable for Women & Men

Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule is a convenient, effective single-dose treatment for vaginal thrush.

A vaginal thrush infection may cause any of the following symptoms; whitish, odourless vaginal discharge, persistent burning, itching, redness, swelling and soreness of the vagina and vulva.

Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule can also be used by the male partner, if he is suffering from penile thrush.

Please note: Before using Canesten® Thrush Oral Capsule, you should see your doctor if you are aged under 16 or over 60 (more safety information below).

How to use:

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

Directions
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water (with or without food). If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, see your doctor.

Ingredients:

The Capsule contains Fluconazole 150mg, Other Ingredients include Lactose Monohydrate (see the enclosed leaflet for further information).

Safety warnings:

Do not use Canesten® Thrush Oral Capsule:

If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to fluconazole, to other medicines you have taken to treat fungal infections or to any of the other ingredients of Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule.

Before using Canesten® Thrush Oral Capsule, you should see your doctor if:

You are unsure whether you have thrush or this is the first time you have had these symptoms.
You have had more than two infections of thrush in the last six months.
You or your partner ever had a sexually transmitted disease.
You are aged under 16 or over 60.
You have ever had an allergic reaction to fluconazole or any other vaginal antifungal products.
You have had any disease or illness affecting the liver or kidneys, or have had any unexplained jaundice.
You have heart problems, including heart rhythm problems.
You suffer from any other chronic disease or illness.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Do not use Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule if you are pregnant, trying for a baby or breast-feeding.

Driving and using machines:

Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule may cause dizziness. If dizziness occurs after taking your capsule, you should not drive or use machines.
