Gepan Instill

Gepan Instill is an effective therapy for the treatment for chronic forms of cystitis, such as interstitial cystitis, radiation cystitis, chronic recurrent cystitis and overactive bladder. These conditions are often related to a damaged layer of the bladder called the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer, which protects the mucous membrane of the bladder from irritating substances in the urine. These irritants can cause chronic bladder infection symptoms such as constant pressure, frequent urination and persistent pain.

Gepan Instill contains chrondroitin sulphate, a natural component of the GAG-layer to temporarily restore this protective layer, preventing irritation thus relieving the symptoms of chronic cystitis. Used regularly, it will improve your quality of life.

Gepan Instill is administered directly into the bladder by means of a catheter (not included). Self-instillation with Gepan Instill should only be done with the support of your doctor.

Gepan Instill can be ordered online without prescription, and used by patients without assistance from medical personnel. However, patients must be instructed by a nurse or doctor on how, when and for how long to apply the Gepan Instilltherapy, and must be shown how to self-catheterise by authorised medical professionals.
